President & COO
Drew Glover got his start in construction in 2007 and has been with Nova Group since 2014. He has served in multiple roles throughout his years with Nova, starting as a full-time intern and then becoming an assistant project manager, project manager, assistant superintendent, and project superintendent. His expertise spans Nova’s full project portfolio, both domestically and internationally. In 2022, Drew assumed the role of operations manager. In this role he oversaw a wide variety of projects from award through contract close-out. He also directed day-to-day construction and implemented plans and policies to achieve overall corporate objectives. In 2025, Drew was appointed president and chief operating officer of Nova Group. He holds an M.S. in civil engineering specializing in structural engineering, and a B.S. in civil engineering from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and has a California professional engineer license in civil engineering.
Sherri Silva
Vice President, Finance & Accounting
Sherri joined Nova Group in 2017 as Controller and recently assumed the role of VP of Finance/Accounting, overseeing the Accounting team. She brings over 30 years of finance, accounting, compliance and contracts experience to this position including financial expertise in gas, utility infrastructure and environmental services industries. Sherri holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing.
WALT SCHWARTZ, PE
Vice President, Pacific Northwest Operations
Walt has been employed by Nova Group for over 15 years but has worked in the construction industry for nearly 40 years, including over 30 years in project management. Walt oversees Nova’s regional office in Port Orchard, WA, including estimating and project management for all Nova projects in the Pacific Northwest. Walt’s expertise encompasses all major Nova markets – fuel, waterfront and electrical work. He holds both a B.S. and in M.S. in Civil Engineering from the UC-Berkeley and has a P.E. license in
Civil Engineering.
BRENDA ABEL-KISER
Vice President, Preconstruction Services
Brenda has been employed by Nova Group since 1982, holding multiple roles prior to assuming the her current role as Vice President, Preconstruction Services. Brenda began her career in the Nova Shop & Fabrication Facility supervising the shipping and receiving operations. From there, she moved into Project Operations including both on-site supervision and home office project management. For the past 23 years, Brenda has served as the Chief Estimator for Nova, overseeing all aspects of bid preparation. Her industry knowledge and depth of expertise in Nova’s key market segments of hydrant fueling, utility infrastructure and waterfront construction is unrivaled.

Operations manager
Ken has been with Nova Group since 1993, bringing over 30 years of experience across various roles within the company. Initially starting as a Quality Control Manager, Ken later transitioned to Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, where he has spent the past 25 years overseeing some of Nova’s largest and most complex projects, both domestically and internationally. Ken’s expertise spans Nova’s full project portfolio, with a particular focus on the construction of Type III Hydrant Fuel and bulk storage tanks for military applications. In his current role as Operations Manager, Ken draws on his extensive experience to drive operational efficiency and project success. Ken holds an A.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Construction Technology from Purdue University.

Operations manager
Drew Glover has been employed by Nova Group since 2014, serving in multiple roles throughout his 9 years with the company. He started as a Full-Time Intern, then Assistant Project Manager, then Project Manager and finally Project Superintendent. Drew assumed the Operations Management role for Nova Group in 2023. He oversees all project execution located outside of the Pacific Northwest. Drew’s expertise includes military construction projects, fuel hydrant systems, fuel distribution facilities, and airfield lighting. Drew holds an M.S. in Structural Engineering and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, and he has a P.E. license in Civil Engineering.
