This project constructed a new Type III Fueling Hydrant System with a new pumphouse and the replacement of 11,000 linear feet of fiberglass fuel transfer line. The old Type III Fuel System was demolished and a new Type III system was constructed that included 23 hydrant pits. The existing tanks were modified to meet the current AF Standards, including removal of the existing tank bottoms, and replaced with new steel, leak detection, and Cathodic Protection. The new Fuel Distribution Line includes replacement of the fiberglass line with an internally-coated carbon steel transfer line. This project included a significant amount of airfield pavement and work on/around the active airfields and within the high security areas.
