The work included overhaul of two main pumps and motors for Drydock 1.  The overhaul included correcting the shaft misalignment, squaring the coupling face, providing a new pump shaft, providing new disc wearing and lower casing wearing rings, and providing new impellers, impeller nuts, and thrust rings. The pump well had to remain in service throughout construction.
