This project constructed an enclosed DoD Type III hydrant fueling pumphouse (with control room) and two API-650 aboveground 10,000-barrel fuel operating storage tanks, including paint and floating pans. This project also featured construction of two concrete tank foundations with a 20,000-square-foot containment area with sloped containment dike walls and containment liner. Fuel pipeline between the new and existing structures and transfer line totaled 9,000 linear feet of carbon steel with stainless steel drain lines, one Isolation valve pit and LPD/HPV pits, as well as pre-fabricated pipe supports. The project included engineered metal buildings, a 2,400-Gallons-per-Minute, 3,750-square-foot pumphouse, and a filter building of 1,024 square feet. Electrical work included Class 1 Division 1 and Division 2 environments for 15kV to 600-volt power, interior and exterior lighting, cathodic protection, fiber optic communication, a fire detection system, a 300kW standby emergency generator, and associated site work.
