The project constructed an enclosed DoD Type III hydrant fueling pumphouse (with control room) and two above-ground 10,000-barrel fuel operating storage tanks with containment. This project also featured construction of two concrete tank foundations with a 20,000 square foot containment area with sloped containment dike walls, containment liner, 2 LPD/HPV pits, and miscellaneous area inlets and pipe supports. The two new API-650 aboveground fuel tanks included paint and floating pans, a 2,400-gallon-per-minute (gpm) pumphouse, and a filter building of 1,024 square feet. Nova also constructed a 620-linear foot waterline, a storm and containment drain system of 180 linear feet, a 490-linear-foot sewer, and a 270-linear-foot containment drain, as well as a 4,000-gallon above ground product recover tank (PRT) and platform. The work featured extensive metal fabrication including cross-over stairs, bollards, vault grating, and angled anchor bolts, handrail at containment dikes, fuel piping, pipe supports, EPDS stands, and hose racks. Electrical work included interior and exterior lighting, cathodic protection, communication, a fire detection system, and associated site work.
