This design-build project at the historic Pumpwell 2 is a follow up to an earlier uncompleted effort to execute similar work. This project will refurbish the main dewatering pump #2 located inside the drydock of Pumpwell 2. The scope of the work will include replacement of the pump impellor, pump motor, pump casing, pump footings, and motor controls, and procurement of four check valves and replacement of one check valve. The shaft connecting the pump and motor will also be refurbished, as will the shaft bearings and couplings. Components will then be aligned and tested.
