The work of this project at the Fresno Air National Guard Base in California, included the demolition of an existing fuel system that consists of six underground storage tanks, tank piping, and over 64,000 square feet of paving. The project constructed a new JP–8 jet fuel storage facility that includes two 2,500–barrel storage tanks, two tank off–loading stations, two truck fillstands, a pumphouse, utility and pavement extensions, and incidental related work. The project included construction of a jet fuel complex with field-erected vertical storage tanks, pump shelter, truck fill stands, offloads, and refueler truck parking. This project also included a truck loading and off-loading system, the existing refueler truck parking facilities, and asbestos-containing concrete and asphalt.
