The work of this project was to construct three new 27,000-barrel above ground storage tanks at the San Diego International Airport (SAN) fuel storage facility. This project consisted of the following: demolition, ground improvements, grading, pavement, structural concrete, storage tanks, mechanical, fire protection, electrical, and controls. As a subcontractor to Burns & McDonnell, Nova Group was awarded the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical portions of the project.
