Type Iv Hydrant Fuel Repair At Misawa Ab, Japan
This emergency project provided mandatory repairs and upgrades needed to the existing out-of-service Type IV Hydrant System. The project repaired hydrant fueling system control system, flow controls, electrical, piping, and pressure relief system. This included replacement of the existing Programmable Logical Controller (PLC), installation of return venturi, replacement of oversized Back Pressure Control Valve (BPCV), relocation and refurbishment of ESOV, replacement of TRV, and associated piping.
